Nepal Flood Emergency
Nepal
On 26 August 2026, a glacier collapsed in the Rasuwa district. We read the news, called the people we knew. And decided not to stand by and watch.
What happened
On 26 August 2026, a glacier collapsed in the Rasuwa district. The Bhote Koshi river swept through entire villages. Homes lost, families without shelter, communities to rebuild.
We know those mountains. Tibet is the land that gave us our beginning — and it lies on the other side of the same peaks. We have funded projects in Nepal in past years, and we still have friends there. It is not a foreign land. It is home.
How we responded
We never work alone. For this emergency we activated our network of verified field partners — trusted people, through whom we know funds reach their destination.
The funds raised pass through the Associazione Giuliano De Marchi per il Nepal (AGDM), an organisation that has worked in that country for years, knows it from the inside, and carefully selects who, on the ground, can truly deliver help to those who need it.
Our contribution
Casa Costa Foundation ETS supported the emergency with €32,027, raised through the Foundation's network of donors and supporters. A direct, rapid response, built on relationships of trust that already existed.
Why we do it
This is not charity. It is a concrete response to a concrete need, made with the right people, for the right people.
A different land, the same ring of mountains. The same urgency not to stand by and watch.
