Ergobando, the colours of solidarity

Cromia and the Costa Family Foundation work together to provide practical assistance to women in Africa and Asia.
In Ladin, Ergobando means rainbow and this word leant its name to a project that stemmed from a collaboration between the Costa Family Foundation and Cromia, an Italian fashion accessories company. Ergobando or rainbow represents shared ideas, values, feelings and emotions that permeate through a group of colours, which, united, create a new form of beauty.
Ergobando is a line of bags and scarves that were created to support the Costa Family Foundation projects in Togo, Uganda, Afghanistan, India and Nepal. The fabric is made by the women of these countries and is used to embellish all the bags. No two are the same. Every bag is unique, exclusive and tells a particular story. Thus, the Ergobando line of bags became the spokesperson for the stories and projects that the Costa Family Foundation brings to many countries in the world, from Africa to India. It is also a concrete means to support the Foundation’s activities in the countries where it operates.
