In July 2006 the increased inscriptions revenues for the Maratona dles Dolomites participants, have been donated to the benefit of the Tibetan Children’s Villages. For the occasion the sister of his Holiness the Dalai Lama, Madame Jetsum Pema and her husband Tempa Tsering, secretary of the Informatics and International Relations department of the Tibetan exiled government, have been present. Madame Pema is also called Ama La, the respected mother. It's her who is guiding the Tibetan Children's Village since their birth, to the sustain of Tibetan children exiled in India.
